How do I Automatically insert 5 records on a form?

6
Hi,

I have a form called frmTraining Plan and when I set up a new employee I want to populate frmTraining Plan with 5 training records. These records are always the same, so I would like to automate with VBA somehow.

The form has CourseID Field, EmployeeID Feild, Requirement Feild and Time Frame Feild.

Your Assistance is much appreciated

:)

Check out Basic DAO recordset loop using two recordsets and let us know if this helps.

We can still help with specifics if you need when you have digested the main point.

Hi Thankyou for welcoming me appreciate it.

I'm not sure if I understand the code correctly but is it for finding matching records and then updating the form?

If it is what I need is something that when a button is clicked the same records every time, populate the feilds of another form.

regards

Tyler,

The link was a starter for updating data using DAO recordset code. It wasn't because it necessarily gives a similar result.

See what you can do from that basic information and let us know if/where you get stuck.
