Dlookup alternative

7
I am looking for a simple dlookup alternative that would return ONE value to a textbox from a query that is compatible with SQL Server 2005.
Access will be the front end and the database will run in SQL 2005.

Hello, Papote.

You may write your own VBA alternative to DLookUp function using ADO recordset.

Hi

A quick fix is to add list box and there you have an option to add your SQL Code.

It displays more then 1 record but if you can one record you can limit the size.

Hope it is an alternative for you.

Emil
