Lock a column

19
Folks -

A lot of my distinguished colleagues use my (yes, MY) Access 2007 database. I have one column of information that is particularly important. Is there any way that I can "lock" a column so that only I can make changes to it?

The rest of the database is very user friendly and everyone uses it without a problem.

help!

thanks!

PS - if we're using code for this, I'm really going to need step by step instructions. I have NO code in the DB, because I can't make it work. Think NEWBIE newbie.

Thanks! :-)

You will need to explain where this column of data is found. Is it in a table? A Query? A Form?

It's in a table that I have used to populate a form.

Thanks!

You can control the data in the form - but not in the table directly.

Okay, how do I do that?

Most of the team use the form anyway.

I figured it out!

Thank you for the hints!

Wow - You're no slouch!

I can see why they come to you for the database :)
