She has no printer installed, or there is a problem with the driver of the
default printer.
Access uses the printer driver metrics to calculate the layout of the
report. If there is none, or if it is faulty, it is not able to calculate
the report, so nothing works.
Install another printer driver - a completely different kind than any
existing one.

>I wrote a program in Access 2000 for a co-worker. She just got a new
Dell Latitude laptop and when she opens the db, none of the reports
will open. They show up in the report section with the correct names
but when you try to open them in normal view or design view they will
not open. The laptop is running Windows XP with Access 2000. Does
anyone have any ideas as to what I can check or try to get this
working?
I opened the same db on my Dell laptop at home running Windows XP and
Access 2007 and everything works fine. I feel it must be some setting
on the laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
