Join tables with multiple rows in the second tables

P: 1
Hello,

I have 2 tables that I need to join and update, the query look like bellow:

UPDATE M1L INNER JOIN M1 ON (M1L.A1 = M1.A2)
SET M1L.A3 = [M1].[A4]
WHERE xxx;

In M1, we have multiple records having the same A4, but have different DATE_TIME_MODIFIED value. I only want to join M1L with the latest DATE_TIME_MODIFIED value record in M1.

Could anyone please help me with this issue?

Thank you very much in advanced,
Fantabk
