Convert 2003 to 2007 Permissions

121 100+
Hi,

I am converting a 2003 to 2007 database i can open the 2003 in 2007 and read and alter all the tables, queries, macros and modules but it will not allow me to read or alter the design of the forms if i open the forms in design view i get the following error "you don't have permissions to read 'testform'

I have tried to convert the database and i get the following error "The current user acount does'nt have permission to convert or enable this database"

I have tried a save as and i get the following error "The current user acount does'nt have permission to convert or enable this database"

The original 2003 database uses a workgroup file which i created and is not using system.mdw

Any help is much appreciated

Regards Phill

You could move Workgroup file to a different location.
That will cause database to use System workgroup file.

This should allow you to make changes to your database.

Later you can join the database with your original workgroup file using:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdWorkgroupAdministrator
This will invoke Workgroup wizard in acc2007
