Dunno if a change in display control is doable for you... but as the
count of variables is only 3, a combo-box may be a quick & dirty fix?
Create the combo box on the continuous forms form, then open its
Properties window
On the DATA tab:
Bind it to the SentByMethod Field
Change Row Source Type to Value List
Set value list to read: 0;SentByX;1;SentByY;2;SentByZ
On the FORMAT Tab:
change column count to 2
Set column widths to read: 0,1 (assumes columns in inches, We use cm
here in Aus.. so it'd be 0,2.5...but you get the picture..)
Like I say, Quick & Dirty but should do the trick without requiring a
whole bunch of code...

re: Access 2003
I have a field called SentByMethod the displays a 'zero', '1' or '2'.
I am trying to set up a text field that shows "Sent by X" if it's 0,
"Sent by Y" if it's 1, and "Sent by Z" if it's 2. I can get this to
work in single form mode (fields on the form)
How do I get this same thing to work when the form is in "continuous
form" view mode? (when row 1 has a SentByMethod of 0, row 2 has
"SentByMethod of 1....etc The text box needs to indicate the proper
SentByMethod.
Thanks.
