Close a thread

How do I go about closing a thread?

Hi. You don't is the short answer; we only close threads if there is a problem with the thread (double-posting, flaming, insulting behaviour, whatever). The moderators, forum leaders and administrators of the site can do this, but not those who post threads.

You can always post a message in-thread to advise that you do not wish to proceed further with the topic, paying due attention to the normal courtesies of responding to those who took the time to participate in the thread.
