Retrieve database from access using excel's vba editor

i'm trying to extract data from ms access using excel's vba .. i;m using combo box to select ..like for an example in my combo box there's GSM and PDA .. then when i select GSM then information will be retrieved from ms access. i need help with the extracting part ..

I'm afraid there's so little sense here I can't even guess which direction you're heading in.

Excel can take data in from Access using MSQuery.

Copy and Paste can be used.

Access has a few ways of pushing the data out, including something specific to Access VBA.

It's hard to know how to help any more than that.

Thank you btw .. sorry i didn't indicate clearly .. hmm how do i extract data out in access to excel using vba editor ? is there any other way instead of using ADO or DAO . how do i use msquery to extract ?

Well, I'm not going to write a routine for you, but if you start looking at :
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet
you should find what you need. If/when you want some more precise info come back and we can help.

From within Excel, select Data / import External Data / New Database Query....
