updating file locations when running app from another terminal

P: 27
Hi,

I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction on this. My macros that open files run fine on my local terminal, but of course, once I email the application to someone else, those macros aren't going to work because they're referencing file locations on my machine.

What is the best way to deal with this? Is there a way to code the file location in the macro so that it automatically looks for the file in the directory that the app is saved in? Or do I have to put all the files on a shared server and update the macros?

Thank you!

You may use App.path for the path of the files..

I'm not sure about that.

CurrentProject.Path should give you what you need though.
