Simple Expression...Please help

How do I rewrite this expression in a query replacing the absolute
value, CV-SC-03-00896M, with a field name [JudgmentID]? I can't come
up with the proper syntax. The expression works as is, but when I try
to put in the variable it doesn't work.

InterestTotal: DSum("Interest","tblDebtorPayments","JudgmentID = 'CV-
SC-03-00896M'")

Thanks
