Workgroup Files

I've just had a PC crash, and I need to reset all my Databases.

Most of my databases just use the local workgroup file,. but a couple
use a specific mdw file.

If I 'join' this mdw, all my databases prompt me for a Username and
password - which I do not want.

What do I need to do?

Please assist

Thanks

Join the unsecured, default workgroup, System.mdw. Whenever you want to open
a secured db, join that db's workgroup only for the session with a shortcut
(all one line):

"path to msaccess.exe" "path to db.mdb" /wrkgrp "path to secure.mdw"

That way you'll never be prompted for user name and password unless you want
to open a secured db.
