Data Access Page - Combine MSONavAddNew and MSONavSave into one command

Hi everybody,

I have a data access page and I would like to modify the navigation buttons, if possible.

I want to combine the MSONavAddNew button with the MSONavSave button so that when the user selects save, it will automatically take them to a new record.

I haven't been able to find any literature on how to do this so any help will be greatly appreciated. This is the only thing keeping me from deploying the page.

Thanks...

Never worked with DAPs, but in Access, when you move from RecordA to RecordB, RecordA is automatically saved, so your MSONavAddNew button should do both jobs by itself!

Pardon my french, but I'll be damned. I spent a good day and a half searching for answers and that's all it took.

I feel retarded, but if I've learned anything...I would much rather look like an idiot and find the answer than give up altogether.

I've been staring at this so long, I think the simple answers were the last thing on my mind.

Thanks Linq for making my day! You're the best!!

Glad we could help, and don't feel bad! I've answered this exact question literally dozens and dozens of times! It's refreshing to find someone who actually expends energy trying to figure a problem out before hollering "Help!"
