222 100+
Hello

This is my first time that I use MS ACCESS 2007 with a new project.

In a form I selected query base one many tables on the record source

now I am trying to add some attribute it is adding well in front of me in the query but once I exit the query wizard it is not saving whyyyyyyyyyyyy ???? :O

I am sure that I am saving before exiting.

NB: I started my file using office 2003 ... ?

Ah, this is a bug.

So you go into your form, and try to change the Record Source. You build your query, test it.. and then close the query to go back to the form. When you return to the form, you'll see that the Record Source under your properties pane is selected, with your new SQL string. You have to click on another property to actually make sure the new Record Source SAVES. If you close your query, come back to the form, and just go into 'Form view' right away, most likely you will lose that change.

This also happens to reports, combo boxes, list boxes, etc.. anywhere that you can put in a record source.

It's a known bug. And there is no 'fix', other than what I said above. Just be sure to click another property immediately after returning to design view, and the updated record source WILL save. And hope they fix it in service pack 2...
