input mask on form for time-to show am and pm

When I use input mask on form for user to enter time( medium time format)
Is there a way to fill in am and pm - so they don't have to input that?
Thank you

What I usually do in these cases is use a combination of the Input Mask and Format Properties:
  1. Input Mask ==> 09:00;0;_
  2. Format Property ==> hh:nn AM/PM
  3. Sample Output:
    • 1100 ==> 11:00 AM
    • 2300 ==> 11:00 PM
    • 0100 ==> 1:00 AM
    • 1300 ==> 1:00 PM
  4. This system works quite well, if you don't mind entering certain vales in the Military Time Format.

If your users can't enter times in military fashion, they'll have to take the time to designate am/pm. Access is good, but it can't intuit the user's intent. Aside from actually entering am/pm, the only other thing I can think of would be having as Option Group with two radio buttons. You could then put the time and am or pm together and store it.
