How to open application to specific tab on main form

P: 167
I have an application that opens on a 'Main Form' and that form has 10 different tab selections. I need to be able to position a certain user to one of the tabs as if they had clicked on the tab. Can someone help to direct me on this. I inherted this application and do not have experience working with tabs.

By Tabs, I'm assuming you mean the Tabs on a Tab Control, if so you can find your answer here:

You set the value of the tab control to the tab reference number for each tab.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  2. me.tabcontrolname.value = 3 ' The value of the table that you want to be on. 0 is the first tab and 1 is the second and so on...
and just simple place that code in the Form_Open and it will automatically go to that tab every time the form is open.

Hope that helps,
