emailing reports

I have been using the email reports feature in access. I have set up a macro with a preset address, so the database user clicks a button an the other guy gets the info he needs. Heres the problem. I have a comment field in the report which is set for memo (255 char). On the report itself, it looks good. As soon as I email it, it leaves off a portion of this feild. I am sending it using word. He needs to see the whole report, not 2/3 of it. Any suggestions?

Have you verified export of the report? What I mean is, in Access a report looks slightly different in an .rtf export(Word) then in the report visual within Access.

My suggestion would be to try exporting and play around with the report setup that way, rather then being visually acceptable within Access. Also, take note of your page size. When I first started I made it larger then an average Page with margins. Once I tweaked it to an 8.5x11 page with .5 margins it turn out great.

Hope this is helpful...Ultimately it takes a little time and patience to set it up to look right in Word export.

I will give the margin thing a shot, that makes sense. I will be working on the database again in the morning since they are using it now. I'll let you know.

Worked great, thanks for the response, sometimes as programmers we don't look for the obvious
