Access Developers Handbook

Hey group,

I've been working as an access developer as part of my college co-op. I
am interested in learning more about Access, and I repeatedly see in
this newsgroup, "Read Access XXX Developer's Handbook" and that's what
I've decided to do.

What I'd like to know is, which version of the book should I get. I am
working in Access 2000, but I don't want to limit myself to that, I
would like a wider range of knowledge so I can easily move between
Access versions (when I change jobs or if my current employer
upgrades).

If I go with, say, Access 2003 Handbook, will I be missing out on
features of Access 2000, or does each successive version (both book and
access version) simply build on the last, so if I get the most recent
book I'd have a good understanding on how to use all Accesses.

There is no 2003 version of this book. I recommend that you get the 2002
version; it will give you full information about that version, and will
contrast what's new in 2002 compared to 2000.

versions of chapters.
