Assign Permissions using DAO

33
I appreciate the help you guys (especially Adezii) have given me thus far. I have one more question to help me complete my database. I am trying to use DAO to programmatically assign permissions to users of my database instead of using the workgroup wizard. If I use DAO thus it necessary mean that I would have create a workgroup??

Now my main question. I browsed around the microsoft Help and Support website:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/112106
and I seemed to have found the help I needed. But when I tried it out in my access 2000/2002 platform, it doesnt run as expected.

I would really appreciate it if someone could assist me in using DAO to assign permissions to my users. For instance if user "A" who is an "Admin", logs to the database he should have full access to the database. If user "B" who is a "user" logs on, he should have certain permissions, say, he should be able read tables, execute queries and use forms but not make any design changes to the tables or forms or be able to alter queries or create new ones either.
