Conditional Formatting anomoly

I've got a continuous form that is just for display, so hence all items
on it are set to Enabled = No, Locked = Yes. This has the desired
effect of making the item unclickable - exactly what I want.

However, if I then apply some conditional formatting to change the
background colour when a condition is met the field now doesn't
remain dumb. When you move the mouse over it, the pointer
changes from a pick arrow to a text insert. Now while you still
can't actually amend or change anything you can click and get a
flashing cursor. Worse you can click and drag and highlight the
whole thing.

I want it to remain inert and unclickable under all circumstances.
I even tried setting the entire form's Allow Edits, Deletions,
Additions and Data Entry to No and switched of all Tab settings
but it still doesn't stop the appearance of the cursor if clicked
upon, which is not there on all the fields without Conditional
Formatting enabled.

I'm using Access 2002/2003 (depending on the PC I'm using at
the time). Is there any fix for this?

Turns out all you need to do is unclick the button on the right
of the Conditional Formatting dialog. Even though it makes
the whole line go grey it still then actually works as you want
it to. Problem solved.
