Leban's PDF Generator

Tom
Hi all:

I'm having an odd problem with Stephen Leban's PDF creator. I'm
trying to output to 11x17 sized paper. The PDF creator does its thing
and when the PDF file opens, its at 800% zoom and the pages are tiny
rectangles in the middle of Adobe Acrobat window. Some
troubleshooting information that may or may not be useful:
* saving the file, exiting Abode and reopening yields the same issue
* running the Leban's utility from a different DB (using
different .dlls) printing to 8.5x11 works fine
* I have both Adobe Acrobat 7 Standard and Adobe Reader 7 installed
* "printing" the 11x17 output to the adobe print driver from the db
yields expected results (i.e., no small page issues)
* printing the problem file to hard copy yields expected results
(i.e., the print covers the entire page)
* sending the resulting problem file to a coworker and having her open
it gives similar page size/zoom issues

Any thoughts on why I'm getting this odd page sizing/zoom issue? It’s
not a show stopper since ultimately it prints fine, but it is
extremely annoying.

Thanks

It's a bug I fixed in the new release. Send me an EMail and I will reply
with the new version. There are new Merge and Security features in the
latest addition.

Is this new release more recent than the March 26, 2006 version
available from your website?

I have a similar problem with a legal landscape report which views
fine in pdf, but insists on printing with the form reduced to letter
sized paper.

Yup, it is from a few weeks ago. Bug fixes, new Merge and Security
functionality etc. Should get posted today.

Bob how can you still be an Amiga Afficionado? I cut my teeth with 68K
Assembler on the Amiga.I still miss my Copper Lists and Interrupt routines!

I still own and operate an Amiga 2000, as well as Windows and Linux
boxes, there are still many people in the Amiga Community updating
software and there is even a recent release to WinUAE
http://www.winuae.net/

I added that sig block because I read your bio while on your site
looking for the upgrade.
