Constant crashing on Combo Box

I have a list of all towns and their associated states and postcodes
that I found on the net years ago and am using it as a combo box to
allow choose a town and have the system automatically complete the
postcode and state portion of the address.
Have used this for years successfully.
Have now moved (reluctantly) to Vista and Access 2007 and every time I
use the combo Box, Access crashes and restarts. This is a newish
database with very little (test) data and I have run the compact and
rebuild frequently.
Any suggestions
