Added new field..#Name? appears in FORM

I added a new field to an existing RPT. FORM shows #Name? in the new
field. What did I do wrong. I need to tab to the field and put in new
information.

you mention report and form... which confusing ...
assuming a new control on a form, what field is the control bound to ?
and is this field defined in the form's recordsource?

Realized I had cntrl bond to wrong fld, tx for pointing that out. :)
