Squirrel SQL Client with Access?

Hi I use access 2002

I want to use the squirrel sql client with it via the jdbc/odbc
bridge. does anybody know the url i would use to point to the odbc
driver I've setup for this database? (everything is on the same pc).

If not, is there another recommended freeware sql front end that works
with access?

Thanks :)

As most of us here consider "Access" to be the front-end and/or development
tool, and Jet or ACCDB or a server DB to be the DB engine (or "database"),
we won't be all that familiar, in general, with other front-ends for
Jet/ACCDB/and Server DBs. We are more familiar with using Access and
Access-generated database applications as client to other server DBs.

I'm not familiar with squirrel, because I don't develop with Java or other
multi-platform languages.

Seems to me that Tom's suggestion is in re: a back-end rather than a
front-end. I don't have a reference handy, but someone has an "Access
viewer" about which I know very little detail.

Oops, that's for back-end only.

Squirrel was the name of that multi-platform (she danced on the main
stage first and then later on the little stage at the back) brunette
in Tulsa, Larry. You gotta remember her!

The name that came immediately to mind was "Squirrel-Tooth Annie" from the
cattle-drive days in Dodge City, KS. I guess Squirrel was from the days
before they allowed lap dances, hunh? Y'sure she wasn't a red-head? Like
Lyle, I have always had a good memory for red-heads.
