Unable to get Combo box to populate multiple fields

I have a form, where users enter an order # (key) and who they are. All in table [CMSC_ORDER] (see links below).

From there, I want them to be able to enter the NSN # (combobox) and have the description, and price fill in. (all in table [CMSC_ORDER_Details]

I then want to be able to have a text box in the footer, that will calculate the order total, and store it in the CMSC_ORDER_DETAILS table under total, something like =sum(price)*(qty)

I was able to get the data to show up using nsn.column(1,2,etc), but the data is not stored under CMSC_ORDER_DETAILS.

Any ideas?

If you are still having trouble getting this to work, II suggest you download the Northwind sample database that comes with access. That db has an order and order details form/tables like what you are trying to implement.

The following links show you how to get the db that comes with Access 2000 and Access 2003.

Hope this helps.
