Set and Get functions

How do i use and write a set and get function in VBA? I have a variable that needs some calculations done on it and then passed to another form.

VBA has no get() or set(). They're straight Visual Basic functions, and to be honest, I've forgoten exactly what they're used for. Perhaps if you could be a little more specific about what you're trying to do we could help you accomplish your goals.

1. The Set Method assigns Object References to Variables as in:
   

   Dim frm As Form
   Dim MyDB As DAO.Database
    
   Set frm = Forms("Employees")
   Set MyDB = CurrentDb()
    
   Debug.Print "Allow Record Deletions? " & IIf(frm.AllowDeletions, "Yes", "No")
   Debug.Print "Current Database Name: " & MyDB.Name
    
   OUTPUT:
   Allow Record Deletions? Yes
   Current Database Name: C:\Dezii\Test.mdb
    

2. The Get Statement is more complex in that it reads data from a file whose Records are of a predetermined length, into a Variable. Each Record would typically consists of data derived from a Structure/User Defined Type.
3. I'm with Linq on this one, exactly what are your intentions?
