Check/Text Boxes

18
Hi

Just a quick one. I have a form with a checkbox and 3 different text boxes on (Hidden). When a user clicks on the checkbox I want the first text box to be visable. This is fine but the textboxes appear for all records and not just the one record I am trying to update. I am using VB in Access.

Thanks in advance.

In the On Current event of the form you can hide the check box.

This way when a user moves to another record the check box will hide again.

HI

Thansk for the reply, I have managed with the checkboxs, its the text boxes i am having a problem with. I all 3 textboes have information on record 1 it displays 3 empty boxes on records 2 even tho the boxes are blank. If they are blank i dont want them to show regardless of record.

Thanks

In the 'On Current' event of the form put something like so:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. If IsNull(Me.Text0) Then Me.Text0.Visible = False Else Me.Text0.Visible = True
  2.
Replacing Text0 with your text box names.

cheers,
