Try to open MICROSOFT ACCESS and from access go to file - open then select your file and then use the arrow key next to open button and open it as exclusive way. before you open it hold on the shift button.

Another way, especially when the bypass key (Shift) is disabled, is to execute the following line from within the Immediate Pane of the debugger (Alt-F11 from Access to open VBA window; Ctrl-G to select Immediate Pane) :
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Call DoCmd.RunCommand(acCmdStartupProperties)
