Update query not updateing Date

Update query should update the date field in a table but does not, I try printing off with debug.print and no results
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. DoCmd.RunSQL "UPDATE IndividualSettingsTbl SET IndividualSettingsTbl.Date = #" & stDate & "# " & _
  2. "Where IndividualSettingsTbl.UserName = 'ZMoor';"

Try debuging as follows

dim sql as string

sql = "UPDATE IndividualSettingsTbl SET IndividualSettingsTbl.Date = #" & stDate & "# "
sql = sql & "Where IndividualSettingsTbl.UserName = 'ZMoor';"
debug.print sql

docmd.runsql sql
