Access - Sum of Null

P: 1
Hi.

Hope some one is able to help

i have two tables. both tables contain a time column. and the time entered in these columns is specific to a number of people, all which will be entering in times. what i need to do is add these two times together so as to get a total for the people entering in the times. what i attempted was to create a query with the sums of these times, but say for example a person had entered into 1 table and not the other then he wouldnt show up in the summary at all.

i imagine this has to do with something like the nz function.

but im not sure where to put it and how, been trying everywhere. maybe im being stupid, but any help would be great

Thanx
Tim

You might try a union query for the two tables and then summarize
