compare values in a column in two tables with the same format

"hi
i have two excel spreadsheets (databases!) that have more than 8000
records in them. one is the old version (A) and one is the new version
(B). the primary key (ID) is the name for all of these but the
quantity for some of their lab results have been updated. i need to find a
way to identify those records in the old database that have new column
values for "Quantity". i'd appreciate any help. thanks.
btw. i have imported the two excel files as two separate tables into
Access and identified 40 records ( IDs) that have been added to
the old database (A). now i need to compare the ones with the same
ID that have different quantity value. thanks!"

If you could provide the meta-data for your tables then we can look at providing some SQL that would identify those records that need updating.
