Linked Table ODBC CALL Failed

Hello,

I am working with access 2003. I have two linked tables in the access database that work fine. When I create a thrid linked table which links to the same ODBC datasource I get an error. ODBC Call Failed. Server Timeout. All the linked tables are selecting frmo views which I created in a ms sql 2000 database.

Does anyone know why this would be happening? I need to create several linked tables in this access database but if there is some kind of limitation... I won't be able to.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Seems like no one is on here... or no one has the answers I need when I ask a question... anyways...

I found the solution to the problem I am having...

Open the query in design view, then in the emtpy area of the query window where the tables are shown right-click and select properties. Check the time out and make sure it says 0 (zero). default timeout is = 60 sec, and when I changed it to 0 the problem disappeared.

Since I have seen this same error being posted all over the place I figured that replying to my own post would be beneficial to everyone.

Hope this helps all of you who have the same problem as I did!

Thanks!
