Calendar Control !

P: n/a
Hi !! I'm planning on providing my cutomers with a "Calendar Control"
in their forms to pick dates.

IIRC, I've read a lot of cons some years back about using the ActiveX
control & to rather use a form based tool.

However, here are my conditions:
a) All users will have Office 2003 installed on their PC's.
b) I may/may not be giving them a compiled version. i.e. I may give
some customers an MDB whereas some customers may get an MDE from me.

Will this have any impact ?

Could someone please refresh my memory by explaining the pros & cons
of an ActiveX calendar control & which way should I swing. Also any
pointers to useful past articles & nudges in the right direction would
be really welcome.

Thx & Best Rgds,
Prakash.

Take a look at Tonys page regarding Calendars:
