ODBC-Insert on a linked table failed

P: 2
An application I built to make updates to a linked database table is occasionally giving this error message: error - (-292) An implied insert column (column name) does not accept NULLS.

Users are not reporting this error consistently but when it does occur no other changes to the app can be made and Access has to be closed. The application is built to run an update statement when values in certain text boxes are changed. There is nothing in my vba code that triggers an 'insert' statement and even if there was the columns the error message lists do accept null values.

Any advice would be appreciated

Can you post your code so we can take a look at it. Sounds like something is going on that is causing an new record to be created.

Thanks,
