.mdb View & Tools Missing in Task bar

I am trying to access design view within a database that was created by somebody else. All i want to do is change the background colour on the user form.

I believe it isnt password protected because i used Nucleus Kernel to retrieve the password and i was told there is no password.

I have tried holding shift when opening the file, nothing happened, toolbar options still missing.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Did you use the shift, enter and hold shift?

What happens when you right-click on the form in question?

Sabina,

Have a look at How to Unsecure a Secure Access Database including the comments.

Any information we give you above and beyond what is contained in the link would be verging on unethical and not allowed on this site :-) I'm not questioning your stated intent of only changing the background color of the form in question, however, anyone else who stumbles across this thread in the future would be able to use such information for other uses.

If the information in the link doesn't work for you, I'm sorry, but we won't allow information about how to hack a secure database on this site. Any such information will be deleted.

Regards,
Scott
