Has Anyone Else Noticed This In Access 2007?

I've noticed on many different machines that when a database is opened
in Access 2007, when the blue Access background screen first appears a
thick, broken, blocky diagonal line flashes across the blue
background. This is the best I can describe it. It looks terrible
and seems to be related to the quality of the video card and driver.

On my machine, I first reduced the Windows colour depth to 16 bit and
that got rid of the problem. I then reset the colour depth to the
original 32 bit and the problem was back. I then updated my video
card driver to the most recent version and the problem has now gone.
I noticed it again this morning on a 6 month old Dell Inspiron
notebook. The machine has integrated graphics as opposed to a
dedicated card.

Is anyone else seeing this. Maybe I'm being picky, but it makes the
startup of an application look really bad.
