Multi Colmn Reporting within a group

I have an access report with data that displays by vertically by group in multiple columns. Is there any way to dsplay the columns within the group instead of vertifcally by group? Example:

Current display
John Doe
1/1/08
1/2/08
1/3/08
1/4/08

Instead:
John Doe
1/1/08 1/3/08
1/2/08 1/4/08
