Format a Text Box

I need some code help....If I wanted to tie a string of text to a text box along with a field in a table, how would I do it??

In other words the text box control source would be something like this


"Total Sales for Year" + & ([Ttlsales]) ????

I know the code is not right...that's why I am here!!

Hi there,

I suggest using a label control for the text "Total Sales for Year" then position it beside a bound text box control to the field [Ttlsales].

This can be accomplished by creating a new form based on a table/query of your choice. Then you can simply click and drag the field you want to the form. An accompanying label will also be created and you can just change the text of the label.

Alternatively, you could have a simple "bound" TextBox (called txtTtlSales) which is bound to the TtlSales field and HIDDEN. You could have another VISIBLE TextBox with a ControlSource of :

="Total Sales for Year " & [txtTtlSales]
