Linked Access DB to SQL 2005 Express

I have a two computer workgroup. On my laptop I moved Access tables
to SQL 2005Express and linked them. I use Access as the front end and
everything works from the laptop. Both the access files and the SQL
files are in the shared folder. I have given Everyone user full
rights to the shared folder. When I attempt to use my desktop to
access the linked access files the following error occurs on the
desktop:

Connection Failed
Connection state: 28000
SQL Server Error: 19456
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login Failed for user
'Laptop\guest'

The laptop SQL log file says:
Error: 18456, Severity:14, State: 11
Login failed for user 'laptop\guest'.

When I attempt to use a SQL user that has admin rights to the SQL
database from the desktop the same error message occurs.

Environment:
Laptop:
XP Professional
Access 2002
SQL2005 Express- Mixed Authentication
Simple file sharing is unchecked
No firewalls
Desktop:
XP Professional
Access 2003
SQL2005 Express-Laptop SQL2005 database is registered

Why can't I access the database from the desktop?
Why does it only see it as 'laptop\guest' user?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mike
