Missing Records in a Subform

P: 10

I have a database with 2 tables, one called contacts and a linked one called letters.

The letters table appears in a subform on the main form. Now everything works fine I can enter and amend records, until I close the particular record and reopen it. Upon reopening the subform no longer displays the previously inputted records although they still appear saved in the underlying table Letters. I have no filters on.

Can anyone help with this?

Many thanks

Not sure exactly why you are loosing the records, but I know a place I would start. It may be necessary to requery the form to refresh the records attached to the form. To see if this will be necessary when you run into it loosing the records goto [b]Records[/] -> Refresh on the tool bar. If this works it would seem that the form needs requeried. This can be done by inserting the following code into the forms "Current" event or by attaching it to a button.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Me.Requery
Hope this helps.
