Presentation of a date field in a report

Dear reader,

The presentation of a date field is possible with short date, long date
etcetera.

But as you know the presentation of a date field in a report is still be
depending on the setting of the pc it self. This setting is set in Control
panel | Regional and language options | Regional options | Customize | Date.

Now I am looking for a possibility to overrule the date setting of the pc
and to fix the date presentation in the report it self to make de date
presentation independent of the pc date setting it self.

Thanks for any help.

Kind regards,

Simon

Use the format property in the report's textbox
Or use the format function e.g. Format([MyDate];"dd-mm-yyyy")

And the actual format wanted is ??????
In the control on the report, set it's Format property to whatever the
format wanted is.
See Format property + Date/Time Datatype to learn how to write the
format.
