Setting a password prompt option on a form

P: 27
Hello,

I have a form on which i put a button that deletes all the data from all some tables and the rest remain the same and this copy is used for later use..

For example the Car Brand Names Remain the same but the Model numbers table need to be deleted and New Models are entered in at the end of the Year...

So i created a button on the form that is performing this task perfectly...But this should be done by a particular person and so i want to put a password for it...

So is it possible....Should i put the password for the whole form or just the button and how can this be done......

Please advise...

Thanks..
Jason..

You could set the button to disabled unless a particular user is logged in. I don't know what security you have on your database but you could get the current system user on form open and enable or disable the button depending on access.
