Is the connection generated by native Access form wizards an ole-db connection?

no, it's not. it is a native jet connection integrated into the application. you're allowed to connect tot the current connection using several methods like dao, ado, depending on the verdion of access rdo. yu must specify which of the three libraries you want to us when your designing on vba.

hope that helps.
