how to make combobox in Access Form to display the data from another form instantly?

P: 50
I have two tables - 'Client' and 'Company', and two forms, 'Client' and 'Company',
the relationship between two table is 1:many where a company can have one or more client but each of the client only belongs to one company.

When I try to add a new client data in the 'Client' from, there are one combobox which can display the all the names of the company that exist in the 'Company' table. By selecting the value in the combobox, the CompanyID of the particular CompanyName can be displayed on a text box. However, if I cannot find the CompanyName that I want, I may want to add a new company to the company table.
There is a "Add New Company" button to link to 'Company' form.

After I add the new record to 'Company' form, the combobox in 'Client' form will display the new company name only if I reopen the 'Client' form after I close both the 'Company' and 'Client' form previously.

Is there a way to make the 'Client' from to display the new company name instantly without closing and reopen the forms ? Do i need to write some codes?

Anyone please help me? Many thanks...

Hi,

To do it without code try clicking on Records on the menu bar and then clicking on Refresh
