MSACCESS2007 totals calculation problem

P: 1
Hello, I'm currently running Access 2007 in Spanish and VB8 in English. I need help regarding a problem I have with one of my Databases.
What I have used is a MSoft Access 2007 template called "Inventory" which I have had to translate into Spanish. The problem I have had is to try and get the commands to translate as well between the English and Spanish versions of Access because the two are not exactly the same.
What I'd like is to be able to force a column to display data which multiplies the value of the cost of an item by the amount of items there are present in stock.

I've tried Dsuma and Nz commands and also

=([Inventory]"Total Stock")*([Inventory]"Quantity")

Are the fields [Total Stock] and [Quantity] field names that are bound to a table on the form that you're working with?

if so, how are you displaying the data? is this a continuous form? or is it a ListControl? or subform? Not sure how it is displayed.

as to the question on how to do the formula:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.                  =[Total Stock] * [Quantity]
  2.
if you want it to display labels on top of it, then you would need to define those depending on which method you're displaying the data?

Hope that helps,
