Switching from a form to another with the same subform

Hallo there, I need your help!

I have two different forms. Each of them has got the same subform. What I am trying to do is to open the 2nd form by pushing a button on the 1rst form. I now that a (sub)form cannot be opened twice at the same time. So I made a form in between with an open form button. When I click the button on the 1rst form, the form in between opens and the 1rst form closes. Then I click a button on the form in between to open the 2nd form, but the subform is still not displayed on the 2nd form.
I hope that was understandable you can give me an answer on that!
Thank you!

What I normally do is create a main menu form when it's a multiform app (especially when its similar to what you are doing with subforms). The frmMainMenu is always open in the background and it drives the opening of all other forms unless I have to use a popup or dialog. All I have to do to get back to the MainMenu is close the current form with "docmd.close"

Hrm, sounds like the subform isn't set up properly on the 2nd form. Did you copy & paste it? You should check the Parent/Child properties to the subform itself, to make sure any relationship between the subform and the first form that may have been copied over are properly set on the 2nd form.

Also, are both of these main forms calling on the same table? If so, you might want to consider using a tab control on one form, and displaying the 2nd form on a 2nd tab.
