Anyone give me a leg up on how to make a subform dependant on the main form's combo box selection?
Thanks

Can you be more specific on what you are trying to accomplish?

Is the main form bound to a table/query and the subform is linked to the main?
Are you trying to filter the subform based on a selection or should no records show until a selection is made?

I have an unbound form with 2 combo boxes on it. The 2nd combo is dependent on the 1st combo box. I also have a sub form based on a table. I want the user to select a category from the 1st combo box. The 2nd combo box then shows the equipment items that fall under the selected category. The user then selects an equipment item. No problem so far. I then would like the subform to filter out all the maintenance records that pertain to the 2nd combo box. The user can then enter new information or browse old (sub is in datasheet view).
Thank You

Oops,
No, and no, I don't want any records showing in the subform until the selection has been chosen in the 2nd combo box.

Just thought I'd try to blow some air onto this thread, see if we can't get a concise answer yet, eh? So, anybody out there know how I can make my subform show only related information that my combobox selects?
Thanks
