P: 97

A couple of days ago, somehow the icon of the .ldb file appeared as the application- unknown Window icon. My curiosity prompted me to open it with Notepad to see what's in it. Since then my .ldb file is keep generating as Notepad with the icon. Can anybody tell me how I can change it to the correct way, that is Access icon? Thanks!

If you will launch Windows Explorer.

Click on Tools Menu and select Folder Options.

The click on the File Type tab.

scroll down to LDB and then click on change button.

Select Microsoft Access, and make sure that Always use this program to launch file, then click ok, then you're done.

That's it.

Hope that helps,
