Access 2007 conversion - VBA project password protected

Hi,

I am trying to create a new application to work with my SQL server database from my Access 2007 using the upsize wizard. It gave me an error saying, "The upsizing wizard cannot convert your database to a client server database because the VBA project is password protected". I am aware that in this type of situation I have to link SQL Server tables to the current application instead of trying and create a new application.

Anyone has a different solution to this problem, please help.

Thanks

Hello, AccessHunter!

I would start from the source. If Access database is protected, why not unprotect it. This is a quick and dirty way of handling it perhaps there are other ways, but would you mind trying that?

Also, couldn't Access talk to your SQL Server? Bare in mind I am new to this, you may have good reason to want to convert, surely possible, just offering options:-)
