Macro fun!!!

Presto731
I need to create a macro (or whatever else works) to copy a SQL table to update an existing Access table on a daily basis automatically.

Ideally i would like it to run once a day.

I am linked to the SQL tables i need but they are killers to run as the work and data they retrieve is quite large. I am trying to avoid slowing down by updating my access tables with the data and running all my queries from them.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I can provide more information if needed

If I'm understanding you correctly it sounds like what you will want to do is on the access side create an append query that will append the SQL table to your access table. Then you can either call this query through code, run it yourself, or assign it to a macro.

Hope this helps.
